The pistol also maintains the cylindrical receiver and bolt design characteristic of the original Ruger Mark I pistol.
The construction of the Ruger Mark IV Hunter is simple yet durable, providing reliable performance whenever you need it. The cold hammer-forged fluted barrel results in precise rifling and a build that provides exceptional accuracy and longevity. The internal cylindrical bolt construction ensures permanent sight-to-barrel alignment and higher accuracy potential. The Ruger Mk 4 also features a contoured ejection port, a push-button magazine release, a drop-free mag system, easy-to-grasp bolt ears, and an ambidextrous safety. This Mark IV Hunter model also has an adjustable rear sight, a fixed front fiber optic sight, and a drilled and tapped receiver that allows for a Weaver or Picatinny rail.
