The Brownells Iron Sight Slide for Glock 19 Gen3 enables you to build a custom Glock-style pistol with a slide that sports distinctive cocking serrations. The front serrations aid in manipulating the slide, especially for quick chamber checks AND for clearing the occasional jam (caused by problem ammo, of course!). Both the front and rear serrations are cut to the same depth as the Glock factory slide serrations to ensure preservation of structural rigidity. The top edges and the front around the muzzle area are chamfered to reduce the risk of snagging on clothing and to make holstering the pistol easier. You can get your Brownells Iron Sight Slide for Glock 19 Gen3 with a solid top and wraparound front cocking serrations OR a window cutout on top between the front side serrations. The window aids in heat dissipation to keep the barrel cool during extended fire. If you have an aftermarket barrel with a contrasting finish and / or fluting, spirals, “flames,” or some other a unique exterior pattern, the window also shows off a bit of your pistol’s bling.
