The Spike’s Tactical ST-T3 buffer provides a heavier buffer than the standard carbine buffer supplied with most rifles, and helps reduce wear and recoil impulse. Unlike some buffers, it doesn’t have any fluids to leak out or clunky weights so it’s 100% maintenance free. The ST-T3 buffer weighs in at 5.5oz and the body is CNC machined from solid billet aluminum bar stock for strength and durability. To improve the look and durability of the buffer it is Anodized black and laser engraved with the Spike’s Tactical Spider Logo. Each ST-T3 buffer contains crushed tungsten weights and is topped off with a Mil-Spec bumper for uncompromised reliability. The ST-T3 eliminates the chance of bolt bounce, helps with muzzle rise during rapid fire, and cuts down on felt recoil. It’s designed for .223/5.56 but it works in all calibers requiring a 5.5oz. buffer.
