It has a sleeker, modern easy-grip ABS housing with no-slip rubberized grip. The camera takes still images, 720p videos, and has up to 9x digital zoom. The monocular features a 3x20mm objective lens, 7 degree FOV, and 1 Watt infrared illuminator.
