This guide rod accepts any aftermarket recoil spring as well as SI’s custom weight recoil springs. The Modular Guide Rod’s stainless steel shaft and aluminum end caps are not prone to rust, cracks or breaks when compared to the OEM polymer guide rod. Due to its durable material construction, the Strike Industries Modular Guide Rod has increased service life compared to standard recoil assemblies. By simply unscrewing the endcap, you can fine tune your favorite GLOCK’s recoil characteristics and improve reliability without having to buy more than one guide rod.
